I got the 1.1.2. Dang!

I am wondering if it is possible to use it without the phone functions for now and just use the rest such as ipod, camera web etc.

I am not worried about making calls, just the rest for now. Please advise.

This is OTB 1.1.2, the farthest I get is the itunes icon and the plug.

Seems to work until I have to hit the option button and click OK in the beginning steps. I am on a PC. I have tried the ALT key, whcih is supposed to be the same as option on a mac. It sets it to download the new 1.1.2 firmware and then does so and installs it. I am not being given the ability to pick the firmware the tutorial links me to.

Next question. How do I run independence on a PC?I have iTunes 7.4.3 and have downloaded the iNdependece 1.3.1.dmg file but it is not any type of executable file. What is my next step?

Ok im in jailbreak, should I downgrade it to 1.0.2or boot the phone?

ok I booted it. now it is unactivated and ready for page two of the tutorial. Wish me luck!
