    The iPhone is only compatible with AT&T and T-Mobile in the USA. Every other cell phone provider uses a complete different type of mobile technology so you're outta luck.

    What he is basically trying to say is that carriers like att, tmo, rogers, fido, vodafone, etc run on the GSM network. Carriers like Nextel, Boost, Telus, Mike, SouthernLINC use the iDen network. Different breed and technology. Hope this helps...
