Hi I purchased a gen 1 Iphone a while back and unlocked and jailbroke it to use in New Zealand.

I was just wondering how the new activation sysytem works? As New Zealand now has the 3g Iphone am i able to use mine not unlocked?

Or does the activation system check specifics not jsut the carrier?

I realise that it will not be jailbroken and i will only be able to use official apps
