Nope, so don't bother upgrading the firmware because it will be IMPOSSIBLE.
(impossible just like the previous versions)

Really the best advice is to just keep a watch on the home page for MMi once it is really out it will for sure be posted there.

I DFU restored to 2.0 on my old doner 8gb iPhone, once complete the iPhone wanted "an unlocked and valid sim card to activate" I put my o2 sim in which is on simplicity sim only (so not an iPhone sim) into the iphone. Itunes then asked me to activate it, which involved me clicking continue, entering an e-mail (fake) clicking continue and it activated the iphone - fully working with app store and calls, edge work as well.
I have just re-restored 2.0 on the same iPhone to see if I can help people who have lost contacts etc recover them. Once done it again wants a sim (but it does not mind my o2 not iphone sim), and then it asked whether I want to set it up as an iPhone or recover from a back up and gave me a few options for the different iPhones I have. I am restoring the data from one of my other iPhones now.

I don't even care about having a jailbroken iphone, I just care about being able to use any Iphone with the 2.0 software on another carrier.
