Whats the best method to unlock an iphone? Im waiting for my iphone to be returned from apple and used Ziphone to unlock for the first time.

However I had to upgrade the base band to 4.6 before i sent it back for repair...this got me thinking, is 4.6 better than 3.9? as i noticed a bit of a signal drop when i upgraded to 4.6

Surely there is a 'one' better method of unlocking. do any actually affect the way the iphone works?

I just installed and used bootneuter and it was the simplest thing I have ever done. I'm on an AT&T sub, but plan on getting the 3G phone, so want to keep this one open for either other sim cards, or even for the card from my 3g phone if I want to play with any installer apps before things are available on the 3G.

I have a 1.0 OTB phone now running 1.1.4, so I just left the 3.9 BL and was able to unlock it with a few springboard swipes, just follow the instrustions and its pretty simple.

I liked ziphone. I know iLiberty is pretty good, I haven't tried it though.
