Country not listed in iworld

Hi,

My iphone is 1.1.2 and my country is not listed in the list of countries on iWorld. So I am still getting the crash problem with the sim card. Is there any update or fix for this?

i got the solution worked out

did like 5 units...1.1.2OTB with Ultrasim..........working like a charm now

how come canada is not listed in iworld ?? is it possible 2 add it ?? think it would fix my probleme of black screen wen i receive calls sometimes ??

Hello there,

I am now in Kosovo and using a local IPKO card (www.ipko.com).
They are (strangely) using the international code 386 which is Slovenia and this country is well listed in iWorld but I cannot get the Edge connection although the "E" is well displayed beside the operator name on the top bar of the screen.

Strange no ?

Could this come from an incorrect parmater in iWorld ?

In fact, I don't have the "Edge" topic in the network menu settings ?

Can somebody help me on this issue please ... because I am also helping others down there with my knowledge ... but not with iPhones

I just used the instructions from the iClarified website listed above in this thread. THANK YOU. It worked very well. At first I thought, "this looks too technical for me" but it really wasn't and I solved the problem in about 15-20 minutes.

In fact, the material I had to download was even more up to date than the tutorial displayed.

This has been very helpful. There also seems to be an up to date file incase you upgrade to 1.1.3 firmware.
