12-14-2007, 11:21 AM #1How to restore OOB 1.1.2 to factory settings
A friend of mine is unlocking iphones using Apple's original IPSF, works for any firmware including 1.1.2 as well... the problem is that in order for him to unlock the phone, it must be on a virgin state, and unfortunately when I got my phone I tried to unlock it by my own, and performed a downgrade and attempted to run anySIM.... now my friend can't unlock it because the Apple server detected the hacking attempted...
So, my question is... is there any way I can restore my iphone as it came? Firmware 1.1.2

But I've heard that some hacking files are not deleted after restoring the iphone using itunes... how true is that?

If you unlocked it and it ran through the procedure and at the end say it can't be unlock run oneSIM to be safe, then restore. And OTB 1.1.2 cannot be software unlocked like IPSF.
