The guy has over 900 feedbacks, which means he's trustworthy.
This gives me hope that unlocking solution is available out there and we will have it soon.

You can get instructions on how to unlock a OTB 1.1.2. I did it using these instructions from Hackintosh!
It works...I have done it to two iphones, the one I'm keeping, the other is currently on ebay for auction. Good luck to you!
Sorry, I didn't have my glasses on. You do need a Turbo Sim to unlock it.

For response from the guy from ebay:
Hello, i have the following services available. HOW TO JAILBREAK/ACTIVATE A 1.1.2 OTB (Bootloader 4.6) using turbosim
As far as i know this is the only method that works, and i am pretty confident that it would work for you aswell..
-> Supported countries (by December/07) are: US, Canada, UK, Germany, France, Italy, Japan and China
The software will allow you to use your phone like an itouch, for the time being in preparation for the unlock to be released. When released this will cost between 200 - 600. This is simplly a scandal, and i will be charging all my customers the same rates with free updates when they become available. All software that is sent is provided for your preapration to unlock, at present there is no unlocking method, but with updates, (which are free) i would like to say for such a small price now...It will be worth the wait!
I look forward to your response, and what could be your purchase.
If you do purchase, please let me know what method you wish to be sent...Unable to restore signature. Error (1015)

His success with his unlock method is spotty. Check his feedback. 95% is really not very good.

I contact that guy on eBay, and he told me that he sale the method in which you have to use "TurboSIM"
12-13-2007, 08:20 PM #12
Scroll down his listing and find the section that says"On Dec-13-07 at 16:53:46 PST, seller added the following information:
turbo sim is not included. just the instructions....The actual price is 27.95"
Waste of time!

Yep, the guys is a scam!!!. Just took my $15 for nothing. He is selling instructions which is readily available for free on this thread. Turbo sim is needed folks. Save your money for dinner. I am gonna go to bed w/out dinner.

Did you guys see the German fella who supposedly has a hack for BL 4.6 and unlocks the new OOB 1.1.2, 100% using software?
I've read on a blog he'll post his method next month. Hope he gives us holiday gift, by disclosing this the community soon enough.

he is obviuosly not a scammer....a scammer is a person that takes ur money and gives u nothing in return. he said he was elling instructions on how to unlock an OTB 1.1.2 and he did just that. He is a guy that likes to make money from people that are to lazy to search for their answers

Guys, I'm pretty confident there's a solution out there. Another one:
It's just a matter of time this to become publicly available!
That's what I think...

All the developers that have something will keep it private as long as possible, that is how they make money....but it is just question of time.
MrLeaker will show up and get something for public.
