I had an unlocked 1.0.2 iPhone. It's bricked. I followed the guide here on this site for OS X, part 1 works fine - restoring it to 1.0.2 with iTunes (7.4) but in

Part 2:
iNdependence keeps crashing during the jailbreak

then the phone needs to be restored again. I just can't get it to work

Is there anyone with an idea? Can I use a different Software for activating it? I'm on a mac but do have access to PCs.

Please help - anything is appreciated.
