Iphone 1.1.2 firmware

Hello I'm from Spain and I've just bought a new iphone in US, and It has the new firmware 1.1.2. I would like to use it with Movistar (a phone company in Spain), but I don't know how to activate and unlock the iphone. I can't do anything with it, help please!

If it is 1.1.2 out of the box (OOTB) then it is with high probability UNLOCKABLE via a software because it probably has the latest bootloader on it. You should either wait for a software solution on which the developers are still working but which is not certain to come out in near future, or should go for a hardware solution (which I, myself, do not prefer) such as TurboSIM or StealthSIM.
