Edge Setting Screen Missing Arghhh!!

Hey guys hopefully someone can help me. I have just brought an iphone for my birthday and its sim free but i currently have a paygo o2 sim in... i have read lots ov threads saying go to setting then EDGE but i dont have a EDGE setting menu screen and im all confused, is there a way where i can put the settings screen back on.oh and it will have to be in simple terms please help me!!!THANKSx

without a sim card in edge setting wont be there , as soon as you put sim card in it should be there . at least this was my case. good luck
