Bought a 1.1.2 unlocked phone, now not working
Hi there,
I bought a 1.1.2 unlocked but when i put my sim in it sayed "locked sim". I thought this meant the phone wasnt unlocked so i downgraded to 1.1.1 and tried to AnySIM it, but it didn't work.
So I upgraded to 1.1.2 again and now it's stuck with a talking tongues when i turn on the iphone. In itunes it just says "Activate your iphone with o2".
I can't reset the iphone with top switch and home button, in itunes it just removed ipod from list til i turn iphone back on.
What can I do to get back to an unlocked status?
Thanks in advance

there is no way to unlock an out of the box 1.1.2 phone, anysim does not work, you can jailbreak the phone, but NO UNLOCK to be used with any carrier.......sorry

use OKTOPREP and update to 1.1.2 and use the 1.1.2 jailbreak. the baseband will not work with 1.1.1.

What do you mean signal? Are you talking about a signal from t-mobile? Sounds like your saying sent a signal to the phone to unlock it. Please fill us in. I would like to unlock my OTB 1.1.2

My iPhone is 1.1.2 OTB. I used this guide:
http://modmyi.com/forums/showthread.php?t=16311
To get the iphone unlocked using bb 04.1.02_G but fw 1.0.2.
I'm now working on just using the 1.1.2 activation to use my o2 PayG sim instead.
