When I bought my iphone about a month ago I rushed into things, googling ways to unlock the iphone for a brief time and ended paying $59 to get it unlocked thru iphonesimfree.com. I got so frustrated (and mad at myself f) when I started modding my iphone and joined the modmyi.community because I discovered anysim!
Does anyone know what the difference is between unlocking your iphone with anysim and unlock it with iphonesimfree.com?
I wanna know before I go forward with updating my iphone to 1.1.2 using one of the guides online.

the AnySIM method patches the baseband, the IphoneSIMFree method unlocks "properly" without modifying the baseband. (At least that is what I have read) Be careful, the SIMFree license is only good for that phone!
anySIM patches the baseband while IPSF actully permenently removes part of the firmware, can't remember which one but i read it on hackint0sh. But IPSF then writes the origional baseband to the phone again, anySIM does not.
