Default Is there a danger of complete bricking?
I want to buy a new iPhone mainly because I want it for wi-fi internet, iPod and eventually phone, even if the unlocking isn't available right away for a 1.1.2. I've been searching around and have had a few warnings that the danger is there of having a completely useless brick. But most people say that at least the iPod, wi-fi, and camera should work. So the question is are there people out there who have a completely bricked phone, nothing working at all? I find it hard to believe that the cat & mouse game won't continue with so many people all over the world working on unlocking phones.

Nope, it's pretty impossible to render it useless
