Can only jailbreak & activate iphone (OTB 1.1.2) firstly? (Unlock, later)

I Have OTB 1.1.2 iphone. Now there is no way to unlock it, so

I will try to activate & jailbreak iphone.

Can I activate & jailbreak iphone without unlock?

Is there any problem in unlocking iphone after activation & jailbreaking?



Which one of both is better at present? You think....

1) Until releasing unlock tool of iphone 1.1.2 OTB(BL4.06), Wait !!
Do not activate & jailbreak iphone.

You are correct.

You cannot unlock the iPhone as yet if you have this new bootloader that the OTB 1.1.2's come with.

However, it will make no difference if you jailbreak/downgrade your phone now. I'm now on 1.1.1 with a few apps installed. It'll be fine there's no need to wait you might as well use your phone as an iPod Touch for now.
