im pretty sure what those websites are tryin to say is that after u unlock the 1.1.1 iphone you can later update to 1.1.2
theres def no way yet of unlocking an OTB 1.1.2
(sucks for me since i have one )

HELLO!1 people u can unlock OTB 1.1.2 with TURBOSIM by the way it looks it's unlikely that there will be anysim for OTB 1.1.2 iphones.

YOU WILL HAVE TO WAIT TILL LIKE A FEW MONTH BECASUE THIS 1.1.2 IS TIGHT SECURITY.

UNLESS YOU HAVE TURBOSIM, THERE IS NO OTHYER WAY TO USE A DIFFRENT CARRIER THAT 02, ATT ETC

fwiw - I found this guide to be the easiest to follow for jailbreaking and activation (though not sim unlocking).

It gets your otb UK 1.1.2 iphone to a state where it will work with any O2 sim

More than likely (99.999%) it's a 1.1.2. this version *cannot* be unlocked yet...
just have to wait like the rest of us :-)

Turbo Sim is for tricking the iPhone into thinking your sim is AT&T o2 etc.... because it doesn't UNLOCK the phone.

An unlocked iPhone accepts anysim anytime

Well yeah, but if you can USE another sim with iphone it's considered an unlock.
