I can activate but i cant unlock
i can activate my iphone but i cant unlock the sim
im currently using 1.0.2 (1C28)
modem firmware 04.02.13_G
i bought my iphone new in the box with 1.1.2 firmware at the applestore
i am a newbie at unlocking and i do not understand some terms such as
"virginize"
"bsd baseboard"
"boot loader"

Search is your friend.
But basically, you're screwed right now. You're not unlocking it with that firmware version, at least not until someone figures out how to do it.

He says he is running 1.0.2 not 1.1.2 with that baseband i would say he upgraded to 1.1.2 then down graded again

He bought his phone as 1.1.2, so he's screwed for now

No you will not be able to because it has the new bootloader that can't yet be unlocked
