Hi, if i go to the apple shop, can i buy an iphone for £270 and not sign upto any o2 contract at the shop so i can unlock it at home? Thanks

as long as its not 1.1.2 otb check serial no on back of box make sure the 4th and 5th no. is not a 45 or 46 or higher if it is you cannot unlock it as of yet

I have a week 43 and confirmed with new bootloader!!

the week thing isnt really a clear cut guideline you need to use bbupdater to check for the bootloader version, but 99% chance its the newest on if bought in the UK
