The new bootloader has been dumped. Credit goes to TA_Mobile for the dump, he physically disassembled the NOR from the iPhone and did a hardware dump. The files have been sent to the Dev Team and to Geohot. After a quick look, it seems that the new bootloader sig checks the whole firmware which isnt looking good for a software unlock. The best bet at the moment is a bootloader downgrade.
In easy language: This basically means that the new bootloader version 4.6 which was integrated in the new 1.1.2 OOB phones has been dumped. This means that shortly we'll be able to downgrade the bootloader and baseband in order to have a 3.9 bootloader.
At least this is what we hope...
This is a first step which will basically allow us to hopefully get closer to unlocking our 1.1.2 OOB phones
Great news, will be hard to do since you'll probably have to replace the chip in the phone. Unless im wrong since the bootloader will only upgrade not downgrade.
