had to restore my 1.0.1 iphone (due to a crash while installing the adobe cs3 photoshop software) using itunes (restored to 1.1.2 then downgraded to 1.0.2), activated using winstaller then unlocked using simfree v1.8. finally got my T-Mobile service back but iTunes gives me the error cannot use the iphone with iTunes because of an incorrect IMEI number. if i remove the sim it synchs to iTunes fine but i'd like to find a fix so i won't have to constantly remove the sim everytime i want to synch the phone with iTunes. i'm on Windows XP. any help appreciated!

i also discovered that youtube was no longer working. the solution was to use:

http://cheapiphoneunlock.com/files/PACAYbybrasuco.zip which enables YouTube on your iPhone (for 1.0.2). after applying this fix/patch youtube was working and itunes no longer gave me the IMEI error and synched without me having to remove the sim
