Newbie has few questions, needs your help

Hey Guys,

Im a rookie and this is my first post. I have some understanding on how things work with upgrading, etc but want to see what would be the best way to go. I orignially bought my iphone when they first came out with original software then i upgraded through apple intill i got to 1.1.1 then I jailbroke it and currently running jailbroken 1.1.1 with 04.01.13_G firmware.

I installed the oktoprep through installer i assume this will upgrage me to a jailbroken 1.1.2 automatically when i connect to itunes??

I then wanted to unlock iphone after i do that and wanted to know if the anysim app I dl on installer with accomplish this?

Any help or comments are welcomed. Thanks!!

Upgrade to 1.1.2, NOT restore, in itunes, then downloads this - http://conceitedsoftware.com/iphone/1.1.2-jailbreak.zip

Then run Windows.bat to jailbreak

Thanks for the help! Looks easy enough , do you have any suggestion on once i do that what would be the best route to unlock?

Upgrade to 1.1.2 and run the jailbreak first, then we'll take it from there. Post back when ready

hi all..
i am a neewbie my self.i have a lil situation here,i bought an iphone from a friend.now the phone works fine wifi and allit's registered to someone else.
now my question is,,can i make it work with my sim card?if so can some please help me?
