I need a definitive answer on the UK iPhone hacking question.

There are tons of sites out there and reams and reams of text to wade through and it seems a good idea to get an answer here. That's how I hacked my US iPhone.

Is it possible to hack a UK iPhone running 1.1.2 to use other sims other than O2. I don't have a problem taking it back to 1.1.1 but I need to know if it can be done before my sister pays her £269.00.

at the moment no. You can unlock it to use other 02 sim cards though.
