how can I restore my phone without losing the unlock modifications?
hey pros,
hope someone can help me out.
First, my iPhones' history:
1) bought with 1.0.2 out of the box. jailbroken and unlocked with the guide from this forum.
2) later virginized and upgraded to 1.1.1. also with the guide from this forum.
In the beginning, I tried a lot of stuff delivered by the installer app.
Now I would like to have a "clean" iPhone. Let's say: as clean as possible.
Is it possible to restore the iPhone in order to have a clean software running, except of the necessary apps for jailbreak/unlock?
What do I have to do?

For 1.0.2: Open up iBrickr and delete the applications.
For 1.1.1: SSH into the phone, go into the Applications folder, and delete the applications you want to. But make sure you delete the right ones! If you want you can make backups of the applications and if you mess up just re-upload it.

If the ulock stays after the restore, what else do so? That's what I mean. I'm concerned about all the settings from apps that I've uninstalled, all the garbage that is not really visible on my iphone.
Is there any other method to start fresh? I would prefer to jailbreak and unlock it again if I know that it is really clean.
Any ideas?
