Hi guys,I just bought an iphone yesterday.Its version is 1.0.2(1c28)
It is already unlocked and workin fine with my telephone carrier.I dnt knw hw it was unlocked as i got it from someone who got it from someone else(i am outside US)

There are few thing i would like to ask
1.Should i try and upgrade my firmware,wats the advantage of new firmware?
2.how do i upload songs on it.i currently i hv itunes 7.5.
3.How do i use wifi?

Ps:i really dont wanna take any risk of blocking it.

Help would be greatly appreciated,thanks in advance!

thanks to broomhead i understood how to use wifi.
Still not sure abt other options please write in your views.?...which version of itunes should be used

since you allready unlocked your phone I would not upgrade, really no need at this point..

start itunes then plug you phone into the computer, you then can sync songs, pictures and other things.

to turn wifi on goto settings on phone, touch wifi, turn on, then select which one you want to use.

There is sum basic thing that i want to ask, the only way the unlocked iphone(for non a&t carrier outside us) can be bricked or blocked is when it is connected to itunes and restore or update is done,otherwise it is absolutely safe to use it with itunes and other features such as gprs and wifi?

yes it is ok to use with itunes just so long as you do not update or restore.
