OTB 1.1.1 unlocked accidentally updated to 1.1.2

So i unlocked a phone for a friend. It was a brand new OTB 1.1.1.
He recently plugged it into itunes and hit update for 1.1.2.
Now iam curious on how the hell i get it back?
Ive tried restoring it with 1.1.1, tried with iBrickr to restore to 1.0.2, nothing works.
What do i do.

Now whenever I try to do a restore with any version it gives me the error (2003) or some other error saying cannot be done, and is still locked in the itunes/usb screen.
