removing TurboSim
Hi my brother has an iphone which was unlocked using TurboSim in December, he wants to remove the turbosim adapter and have it unlocked with ilibertyx, any advice? should it be done? its a 1.1.2 iphone thanks.

Take out the TurboSIM. Plug into iTunes and upgrade (or restore) to 1.1.4 and then use any of the available programs to re-jailbreak/unlock. i recommend iLiberty or iDemocracy.

you dont have to update if you don't want to.
if you just open ilibert+ and run the unlock, it'll jus unlock the baseband for you using geohotz unlock script he came out with in march or whatever. or was it february. either way, its what i used. i used the one from installer. you can use that one too if u want, jus take out ur sim card, use wifi and get on installer. go to iclarifieds catagory and run his 1.1.2 unlock script, leave it alone for like 5 minutes, when its done, take that turbosim off ur sim card and put ur simcard back in. tada!1.1.1>1.1.2>1.1.4>2.0>2.1>2.2>3.1>3.1.2 blackra1n'd
