Sprint Contract up. Should I get AT&T or what?

OK. I've had my iPhone for a couple months now waiting for my Sprint contract to expire. I've just been playing with the phone and using it as an fun iPod. Loaded apps, games, surf web with WIFI etc. (1.0.2) The Sprint contract has now expired and Im thinking of starting service with AT&T. Should I? What are my options. Is it cheaper to get a SIM from somewhere else and use the SIM hack? Will it still have the functionality that I would have with AT&T? I am also interested in a family plan for me and the wifey. Any opinions would be great.

If I do decide to go with AT&T what do I need to do to the phone first?

just get ATT...it will be easier and much less effoet from u....i have T-Mobile but i had o do more work to make my iPhone that way....just get ATT

Thats where im leaning right now. What do I need to do to me 1.0.2 jailbroke phone? Restore back to 1.0.2 and then upgrade to 1.1.1 and activate with at&t and then unlock somehow. Im confused. Help would be good.

If T-Mobile gets great service there then get T-Mobile. Its cheaper.

Don't get the iPhone thru the legit iPhone Plan.

450 mins + data for $70 a month

u can get the T-Zones for $6 a month and more mins for T-Mobile.

and dont be scared of unlocking. learn something new and give it a try!

What do I do? Go to a t-Miblie store and get a plan with a free phone and remove the SIM and put it in my iPhone?

Yea, so you just take out the sim and put it in the iPhone.

I also you suggest you sell the phone on like ebay that you get for T-Mobile. New phones go for lots of money!

I wish I had T-Mobile. Unfortunately the T-Mobile service in my area is not too great and I am stuck for 6 more months with verizon! (altough they have excellent signal they have retarded phones and I can't use the iPhone because it has no sim card!)
