upgrading from unlocked 1.02 to 1.1.2

greetings.

i have an unlocked 1.0.2 phone (followed guide from here) and been waiting on upgrading my iphone's firmware. i think with the latest 1.1.2 i want to upgrade to it...but there seems to be no one guide that can help me with this.

is the best way to just virginize my iphone to factory state and upgrade to 1.1.2? or are there easier steps?

i would greatly appreciate the community's help...thx
