is it safe to restore a 1.0.2 iphone with 1.1.1 restore??

i had an 1.0.2 iphone which i put into recovery mode. i then accidentally selected the 1.1.1 firm ware restore to restore my 1.0.2 iphone. now, i managed to restore it but my anysim is not working!! have i screwed up my iphone?!?!can anybody help me??
