Problem with the 300MB fix

I virginized my iphone, then updated from 1.0.2 to 1.1.1, unlocked (jailbreak) and anySim.

When I try to sync with iTunes, the iPhone shows a Capacity of 300 MB and not 7 GB.

I started going to the steps explained at

I installed vt terminal, but when I type

cd /private/var/root

I get the following message: cd /private/var/root: not found

Please help me with the procedure

for me i can only type three characters and then it closes . . . this sucks and it took forever for me to unlock because of updating my 1.0.2 properly . . .
