Unlocked v1.1.2 by Accident...

Hey guys, to make a long story short...

I am from the uk and was considering buying/unlocking an iphone through o2 until i decided not to risk it as i considered that new firmware would be released by apple. However during my consideration i downloaded an unlocking program and i cannot remember what it was and i remember it said "the next time you plug in your iphone it will be unlocked". So i got my iphone home, plug it in and activate it through itunes as i now want a contract. All goes well until i have the iphone in my hand with "No Signal" in the top left corner. i then go to Settings, Carriers, to see a list of EU providers which i can choose from... to my knowledge they are defenatly not supposed to be there...

Anyway i hope you guys can offer some help as to how to get my signal back or if I'm in the poop. Also, may i have "bricked" it? All applications are functional, however i cannot call or SMS to anyone.

It let's you see a list of carriers even with your o2 SIM, it just won't connect to them.
