AnySim 1.1 unable unlock iPhone firmware 1.1.1
Hi guys, I recently upgraded my iPhone exactly the way it was recommended in the guide. After upgrading and activation, when i tried to unlock with anysim 1.1, it said unlock successful, however, it still asks for a valid SIM. I tried running the anysim software again, and it show an error and asks for a reboot. Can anyone help me with my problem?

Does SimFree v1.7 work? Does anyone where it could be downloaded from? Or does anyone suggest downgrading it to 1.0.2 and then unlock it, atleast the phone would be usable..

K, go to iTunes, restore your phone back to v1.1.1 and then follow this guide religiously.

followed that guide to a T. no go.
AnySim says that it unlocks successful but still getting a "Incorrect SIM" message.
But now I have the 300mb thing showing on iTunes.
what now?

Did you simply restart your phone after anySIM did the job?

1. Restore to 1.1.1.
2. Jailbreak/Activate ( jailbreakme.com )
3. Open Installer
4. Install Community Sources, BSD Subsystem and OpenSSH.
5. Upload AnySim.app to /Applications/
6. Make sure AnySim.app CHMOD is 0755.
7. Run AnySim with new SIM inserted.
8. When finished, restart phone.
If you want more details. Search for some guides or ask me.

guys i did this too and it seems if you unlock your iphone with anysim the first time you cant do it again. The developers are working on a fix for this. I know that there is a way of fixing this and it is called virginising your iphone and then upgrading it to 1.1.1 that way. The guides are on this site, check them out.

i know why ANYSIM is frozen and i know how to fix it.
Ok you have to use WINSCP and go into your phone to where you placed the anysim folder and click on the anysim file in that folder and right click proerties, then make sure you set the number to 0755 on the actual file as well as the folder itself.
I had anysim freeze on me to, but after setting the permission to the folder to 0755, i then went into the folder and set the actual file to 0755 as well, and restarted it and it all went smooth...
Try this.............

BEWARE Apple has changed the 1.1.1 restore file and closed the tiff hole exploit, since restoring with a recent iphone I can't get past the emergency call page, it won't call itself.
Plus there is now no sound. I have tried 2 restores with older 1.1.1 firmware but still no joy. Seems like like Apple have stopped us again.

My mate has had the same thing happen!
Hi everyone, this is one of the 8 iPhones that i had unlocked, but didn't upgrade. My mate decided to have a go himself as he thought it "looked easy". It seems that he has managed to get the phone in a mess and now even if i downgrade (having fully virginized) to v1.02 that the phone no longer works!
Even after anySIM having said it's fully unlocked, the phone still does not work!
I've never experienced this problem.....but i've tried everything i can to fix it, to no avail.
Can anyone confirm his iPhone has now become his phone will remain an expensive 8Gb touch?
