Hi

I have literally 10 mins ago bought a new iphone from the o2 store. It is the £169 8GB.

I am trying to figure out how to unlock it for all networks and how to setup GPRS and use other features.

I can see the guides so I will use them. How do I find out the version of my phone though and if I will need to upgrade it or not?

as a thousand guides said..

download ziphone v3.0
press put in dfu mode
open itunes, it will suggest to restore and upgrade (do that)
once the process completes run ziphone again and press do it all..
then you're good to go with latest firmware unlocked and jailbroaken

What is ziphone?

I just plugged into itunes, downloaded and installed the latest version. I have iliberty+ installed, do all I need to do is unlock it with that now?
