Jailbroken iPhone Edge and Wifi trouble

Hi guys! New girl here I bought a jailbroken 8g iphone with the latest firmware. I installed my T-mobile simcard and immediately was able to text and call. YaY! However, the Edge and WiFi aren't connecting to any network. How do I go about getting this resolved? There are SOO many apps in the installer, but I can't get ANY of them installed without Edge or WiFi. I bought the phone brand new online and it said that the phone was working in every possible way. PLEASSSSSE HELP!

Second, where do you live? There are different settings for Tmo internationally.

Can you enter your network settings for EDGE? APN...
