Unlocked 1.0.2 upgrade to 1.1.1 unlocked

Alright so I have an unlocked iPhone which is version 1.0.2.
I bought it already unlocked, so I dont know what was used to unlock it. It works perfectly.

What do I do if I want to upgrade my 1.0.2 iphone to the 1.1.1 version and have it still unlocked? (Windows method)

I checked iphonesimfree.com which has a simfree v1.7 which has step by step instructions but it says it must be previously unlocked by anysim or iunlock but How do I know what was used to unlock my iphone? I searched this forum for steps about this but no result... anyone know ?

I have the same exact question. Not a hacker, new at this and don't want to screw up my phone. I can't live without it! Need explicit details, I know nothing about this.
