iTunes Compatibility on unLocked iPhone

I currently have version 7.3.2 of iTunes installed on my MAC. I also have an unlocked iPhone, shipped in from the States that's on firmware 1.0.2. Works wonderfully but I would like to upgrade iTunes on the MAC. Does anyone know for sure if upgrading ONLY iTunes to the latest version will disable or cause problems with my iPhone????

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

No issues upgrading iTunes. Just DO NOT upgrade the iPhone. It'll save you the trouble of downgrading and unlocking again.

SOOOOOO If I update to itunes 9 and need to re unlock and JB my
3g will it still work or no? Nervous to loose the ability to unlock my phones
