just followed the directions for winpwn, but had my iphone jailbroken and running 1.1.4 w/ T-Mobile.. I then used the 2.0 custom image(google) and voila. I do not know if this will work for all users, this method just worked for me.. Good luck..

yes! but i deleted my whole hard-drive.. i think there are apps that will save your contacts..
