Frozen Iphone stuck on apple screen

My Iphone is stuck on the apple screen,. ive tried everything to un freeze it but nothing works.. i tunes recognizes my phone but the screen still stays the same.. I heard restoring it may work but to do that i need to use the 1.0.2 firmware... which i downloaded but i dont know if its cause im on a mac which automatically unzips the file that i cant select it when i press option restore when in itunes. Can anyone help me with this please

Have you tried Independence (or Ifuntastic) ?

It could just kick iPhone out of its funk mode. Try it, if you haven't already.

Put iphone in dock and run Independence.

I have run independdence. it activates my phone... then im still stuck with the apple on the screen

I had this happen on a phone, I let the battery die completely, then I was able to restore it with iTunes

i have an unlocked phone so i need tpo restore it keeping the 102 firmware.. but i cant seem to manage to do that on my mac
