You should add one more choice called:

"have not yet tried. Waiting to see more successes"

    Default bricked
Hi, thanks for all the instructions. My problem I have no WiFi, no IP, no IMEI no Modem.
On the point of bbupdater -f *.fls -e *.eep I get the message:
Baseband Bootloader is too old, update to 1.8 or later and try again.
    How can I fix this.

    ciao camino :-)

I had this problem, restore the firmware back to v1.02 in iTunes (or v1.1.1)

This basically means u went wrong with the Baseband, try again

I get to the bit with terminal and enter "ssh -i root xxx.xxx.xx.xx" where x is my iPhones ip. terminal gives

Warning: Identity file root not accessible: No such file or directory.

then my password is not accepted. Cyberduck works fine over ssh.

    help mac terminal guru types...

    The Terminal command is actually:

    ssh -l root xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

the -l is a lower case "L", not an "i" (l as in "log in as"

I'm in the same boat as Camino. As far as I can tell my baseband is completely blank. I have a back-up of my seczone from when I re-virgin'd but I don't know how that is going to help. I've done a restore using both 1.02 and 1.1 and both give errors. I've tried using bbupdater and ieraser using mobile terminal. I feel like my beloved iPhone will just be a portable photo gallery until some new solution comes along.
