On the point of bbupdater -f *.fls -e *.eep I get the message:
Baseband Bootloader is too old, update to 1.8 or later and try again.
How can I fix this.

I had this problem, restore the firmware back to v1.02 in iTunes (or v1.1.1)

This basically means u went wrong with the Baseband, try again

The Terminal command is actually:

ssh -l root xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

the -l is a lower case "L", not an "i" (l as in "log in as"

I virginalized my phone. Before my IMEI displayed 00499901064000... Which was the wrong IMEI after virginalized my phone I got my IMEI back! (*#06#) And my Modem Firmware went back to 3.14.08_G.

I'm in the same boat as Camino. As far as I can tell my baseband is completely blank. I have a back-up of my seczone from when I re-virgin'd but I don't know how that is going to help. I've done a restore using both 1.02 and 1.1 and both give errors. I've tried using bbupdater and ieraser using mobile terminal. I feel like my beloved iPhone will just be a portable photo gallery until some new solution comes along.

the guide worked great. the only thing that took long was downloading the 1.1.1 update

its kinda hard to help without knowing what specific error you got

i used elites virginize method which was the only way I could get it done since I used unlock.app on it prior to the upgrade.

I used the easiest method by http://iphone.unlock.no/ by far no need to know how to use terminal etc to virginize phone.

Ok I have this problem I have no wifi its not letting me activate it ( wifi ) ( the phone is activated ). I have no IMEI, I have 1.0.2 firmware but i have no modem firmware. I have tried to restore to 1.1.2 - 1.1.1 - and 1.0.2 and all the errors I get is error restoring 1011. Also When i try to virginize my phone to try to fix this I get this error

Please help me. My phone is stuck and cant do anything. The phone is currently activated but like I said no imei, no modem firmware and no access to my wifi
