Forgot Password , please help!?

Hi friends..
I bougth a brand new iphone 1.1.4 OTB (unlocked) last week
Today i just set a password , but i forgot , i cant remember
So , i cant make call or similar , just receive calls
i cant sync the itunes too (the itunes wants that i set the correct password)

How can i reset the password?

if you've set a passcode and forgot it, then you'll need to restore. how do you forget a passcode you've just set today?

restore ? how to do it ? but i will lost the unlock ?

i forgot the passcode , believe this , i have many passcodes for everything(emails , creditcards , paypal etc..) , but i forgot to write this in a security paper , so i cant remember..
please help!

well what you have to do is download some thing like iliberty+ and use it to kick the iphone into DFU mode then restore with itunes.

and people in the us have no warranty with unlocked phones either.

i am downloading the itunes 7.6.1 (mine is default 7.3.1 "Tiger 10.4.10)
i am in DFU mode , i think
i would like to know if i restore it i will lost the "unlock" ???
i am in Brazil (i bought it at ebay) so i am afraid

No, you don't lost "unlock".

one of the jailbreak/unlock programs will unlock the phone even if it relocks. since you have a mac you can use pwnage to pwn your phone. look for the guide in here

thread says to use liberty+ but i cant find link, is liberty dead and if so what other way can i restore a 1st gen that is password locked?
