Previously Unlocked and Jailbroken iPhone with iLiberty

Hi,

As my heading suggests I have a Previously Unlocked and Jailbroken iPhone on 1.1.1 with a Mac Powerbook G4, I unlocked it with anysim and would like to upgrade to 1.1.4 with iLiberty, I helped out my friend and unlocked hers straight out of the box but I am worried if I try my I might brick my phone.

Do I have to virginise my phone before using iLberty or can I just upgrade it as is?
