    I live in asia and I recently purchased a locked 1.0.2 firmware iphone. I haven't done anything on it yet and it is in factory fresh state. Can somebody please tell me if i can update it to 1.1.1 before unlocking it.

    you can, didnt realize a guide was neccessary. jailbreak and upgrade to 1.1.1

    load and run anysim 1.1
