    several of them

i read over a lot of them...they all pretty much said the same thing

i even went as far as running ieraser, flashing 1.1.1, and then reflashing again w/ 1.0.2 which reflashes the baseband through itunes

I tested with a brand new 1.1.1 phone, downgraded firmware and baseband to 1.0.2 and it worked...

i guess it doesnt work with previously unlocked phones yet...

As of now there is no way to truely virginize your phone if you used an older unlock method. You are confusing downgrading the baseband with repairing the seczone/nvram. Wait for the tool!

I ran ieraser.. did that not reflash seczone?

what keeps a "virgin" phone from being true virgin?

id like to understand more about what is actually happening.

agreed. with all this talk going on about the NCK counter having a limit of unlock attempts, would a "true" virginizer be able to factory fresh reset that? I know we're only speculating at this time as the DevTeam is currently working on it and details are minimal.
