Exclamation Downgrade from 1.1.1 (incl baseband) to 1.0.2?
    Hi,

    Sitting and thinking about this:

    1. Downgrade my newly baught iPhone with FW 1.1.1 and downgrade it to FW 1.0.2 (including baseband). Then UNLOCK it with iPhoneSimFree. Then upgrade to 1.1.1 again, will this keep the iPhone activated and unlocked even after the Upgrade back again?

Unfortunitely not, if it worked then all us at 1.0.2 woudl have no fear of upgrading to 1.1.1.

From my reading you will need to restore phone to virgin state at 1.0.2 firmware, install ssh of some sort and then upgrade to 1.1.1 and then downgrade baseband to 1.0.2 version and activate. This is just simpel terms, lots of guides here on exact details.

Okay, thanks for your kind answer. Then I will just wait till iNdependence and AnySim gets updated, maybe will be worth the wait?

Is it better to use IPSF over AnySim/iNdepence, as I've heard that AnySim patches the baseband as were IPSF doesn't?
