Unlocking Question

I just used the iNdependance program, to unlock and Jailbreak my iPhone.

It is a v1.1.4, I did Sim-Unlock, it says it did it, but is their anyway to tell if its unlocked without popping in a T-Mobile sim card? And if i ever switched to T-Mobile, i could switch to their service, pop in their simcard and everything will work? Phone, text, internet? Etc...

The real way to test is to pop a different service providers sim card in. And yes, if you have the appropriate service plan, internet/phone/text will work. I think visual voicemail is the only thing that won't work.
