Phantom Alerts for new SMS msgs - Alerts will always repeat
|
Been having this problem for a while, just reporting it now...
Whenever I get an SMS message, I get an alert as normal... If I click the red dot to close (mark as read) the message... The phone will always generate another alert, even though no new SMS was received.
I'm certain the issue (phantom alerts) is related to receiving SMS texts. I've experienced this with current 3.0 firmware and previous firmwares as well, with both iPhone 3GS and 3G.
