Start NEW SMS with Tlert?
Hey psuskeels, any update on adding the ability to start/send an sms from any app? I know this has been mentioned, but wanted an update if you can comment.
Thanks.kwickone I.T.H.

FWIW, I heard back from Intelliborn support on this item. They say it is planned but no timeframe yet.
I went ahead and got iRealQuickSMS as it has this already.kwickone I.T.H.

this is a response to the same question via their support email
"We are hoping to add a way to originate a message in the future, but I don't have a timeline for you at the moment.
-Mario"
also irealquicksms - really sucks- crashes on me often - and when your typing the screen will autolock after x number of seconds instead of after you type

Yep, I tried to leave Tlert for irealquicksms because of this feature but could not get quicksms working smoothly. I'm back to tlert but this feature would really be appreciated!

If you have both, do what i do.
enable tlert, like normal.
go into irealquicksms settings, turn everything off in quick reply.
leave everything on in quickCOMPOSE.
so you can compose your texts from the volume rocker, and when you get a reply, you use tlert.
works perfectly for me. this is until tlert releases a compose.

Reading over this post, so it been six months since its been updated. Is there anyone that can update on it, appears the dev's were looking into this functionality. I for one would really like to see this implemented. Cheers
