ANNOYING iphone gophone balance notifications
Hey everyone. New iPhone user here. Just wondering if there is any way to disable the ANNOYING notifications that pop up on my iPhone all the time telling me what my account balance is on my GoPhone account.
I figure if there is a hack out there .. this is the place to find out about it.
Anyone else find this to be very very annoying??

Havent seen that yet, I don't know that anyone here is using GoPhone. Are the messages a text? Or do they just pop up like the low battery warning does?
Thread moved to ATT discussion forum.

Ah.. I doubt it so far. Browse the file system and see if you can find that message...

the only pop up if you use a data service, or send an sms. and if you send alot of sms they wont pop up for each one. and they pop up after you finish using the data. if you dont like it dont get prepaid. thats how EVERY prepaid phone is.

It's not in the phone itself. They're system notification messages, same as if you had postpaid service and used a *# service, like *MIN#.

Nah, thats up to whoever is buying it. Plenty of reasons not to get a contract.

Yes this is very annoying. Hopefully an update will allow you to moderate the messages.
I get this all the time :
"You spent $0.00 on the last transaction your balance is $bla.blabla"
I could see if I had spent any minutes but for 0 ?
WTF Crapple !

I get it too
I failed the credit check so prepaid is all I get as an option. The price is reasonable, but if i could patch out that message it would be great.. I have a feeling it would create more problems at the sms level of the phone. tho.

I called att and bitched about it , they said that those notifications get sent out to all cell phones that work with att and it was up to Apple to implement a software fix into the phone to stop the notifications.

more like it's up to the iphone hacker community to implement a fix..

I'm calling AT&T tomorrow after the software unlock is flooding the internet and telling them to stop the dam notifications or I'm switching carriers
