    Default turn off data on iphone 4 pay as you go

    got my wife an iPhone 4 for a good deal. Its just going to be used for voice and text messaging. What can I disable so the iphone won't use the internet and waste her prepaid money? Will disabling cellular data do the trick?

    Turn off data in Settings.

    Typically, if no data plan is added the iPhone is unable to connect to the internet.
