How to tell if an iPhone is for AT&T?

Hi guys,

I just bought a brand new iphone on craigslist and want to make sure it is for AT&T. Is there a way to tell without getting AT&T to give me a micro size sim card? I currently have an iPhone 2g with a regular sized sim card and want to be able to use it. Thanks

If it has a small hole on the right side of the phone (pin sized hold) then it's for AT&T.

thanks! I just sold it yesterday since it wasn't gonna work out for my aunt overseas. Got the same price after listing it for 2 hours. Man these things sell fast, I should start a business of buying and selling lol

Yeah, i traded mine for a HTC inspire 4G and regret it. could have sold it and gotten a atrix 4G and a tablet.
